I’ll confess that the last place has drawn us with its storefront. But don’t let it trick you. You have to know that in Paris in every corner there are shops with sentimental, girlish bracelets and rings that are just adorable.
If you are not a demanding Magpie and you get sucked in by the romantic atmosphere of this city, then of course have fun and enjoy the abundance of trinkets. But I want you, Magpie, to be aware that in 90% of the cases the quality of the material they are made of (you know, jewelry like thin cord and mini charm) is not proportional to the price. So…
But let’s get back to that pretty shop window. We stopped in front of it and went inside. In the boutique we tried on jewelry made of natural stones, wood, pearls and crystals, and the sales woman told us that designer Philippe Frrandis releases his collections twice a year and all items we see are hand crafted in jewelry workshop (under master’s surveillance) in the south of France.
We’re crazy about the stone brooches with bugs. Just look at them…
