People, Product, Places — Sun-Kissed Stories from Vicenzaoro January 2026

If you spotted a sun-kissed figure dashing past in leopard heels during @vicenzaoro January 2026, chances are our paths crossed. I arrived at VOJ wrapped in a yellow faux fur coat, powered by fresh New Year energy and hungry for sparkling inspiration. As always with events organized by the Italian Exhibition Group, I got more than I expected – this edition of Vicenzaoro was truly spectacular, a bold expression of the new manifesto “People, Product, Places.” Here’s my shining recap and the key takeaways from VOJ.

Vicenzaoro January 2026 concluded with an inspiring programme of events centred on jewellery as an ecosystem of people, product and places. Swipe to read my VOJ report.

Highlight #1

A historic moment: the debut of the VO Awards. On January 19, 2026, for the first time at Vicenzaoro, outstanding jewellery creators and designers were honoured. Emotion and enthusiastic applause filled the room, especially when the brilliant visionary @alessio_boschi_jewels was announced as the winner in the Best in Icon – One-Of-a-Kind Jewellery category.

Highlight #2

A true mine of sparkling inspiration: the presentation of the new edition of The Jewellery Trendbook 2027 by Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting. The leading theme, CODED COUTURE – Jewellery as a cultural code in the age of Artificial Intelligence. The chills were real when @paoladeluca.thefuturist stepped onto the stage wearing a bejewelled mask.

Highlight #3

Martin Rapaport delivered an exceptional talk on diamonds. The tension between price and true value is becoming increasingly tangible, and diamond jewellery is at the heart of this shift. He shared sharp insights for brand and store owners, an in-depth analysis of market evolution, and compelling case studies, including the story of the 709-carat Peace Diamond discovered in Sierra Leone in 2017.

My #POV

Coming back home from VOJ, both my memory card and my heart were full. Vicenzaoro feels like so much more than a business event – it’s a collection of cultural moments: from powerful Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting presentation, through celebrating extraordinary talents at the very first VO Awards gala, to all the after-hours meet-ups, where prosecco mixes with Campari and business blends with pleasure.

What’s next? Vicenzaoro returns from September 4th to 8th, 2026 at the newly renovated Vicenza Expo Centre.
