AGATA BIELEŃ. “(…) following the idea that simple is beautiful and less is more”
Anyone who loves minimalism will surely appreciate jewelry by Bieleń. Her collections are cohesive and perfect in every detail. The objects are really delicate. They gleam in an exquisite way, hanging on chains that are as thin as a thread. Geometric, inspired by a straight line, mostly made of stainless steel. Since recently, also warmed up with gold. People who know and wear Bieleń are well aware that it’s not jewelry for over-adorning. All you need is an earring or a thin chain shimmering on a wrist… Recently, the designer left her workshop, and she set up her own, temporary boutique. A small TUTU at Ratajczaka 3 in Poznań. That’s where we visited her, which you’re about to see on the pictures below. Agata is very conscientious about her work. She designed the showroom “her way,” aware that if she had sent jewelry to a boutique she wouldn’t have gotten any control over her exposition. You never know, someone could have put it out against pink tulle. Can you imagine that? I don’t think I even want to do that. 😉 That’s why the space looks so unique. It’s designer and minimal. The collections look stunning against next to each other. The whole is completed with two old, but well preserved armchairs with violet padding from grandma Bieleń. It was really great to sink into them and relax. I really like to exit the virtual space while looking at jewelry. That’s the only way to really appreciate the nuances with my own eyes. Examine the finish, look at the shade and signature, which, in case of Bieleń, is not pushy and really fits every design. I could touch every necklace at Ratajczaka 3. Feel their delicacy and discover that they’re mobile, which I hadn’t been aware of. What’s also important? The contact with the designer. Yes! I’m going to keep saying this till my last breath. Agata told us that she had been visited by a client who was looking for an engagement ring. And he found the perfect one at her store. 🙂 Moments like that are extraordinary. When selling online, you never know who and why wants to buy the designer’s jewelry. I hope Agata opens her own boutique. I will definitely keep visiting her. Looking for new collections or just for a cup of coffee. 😉
