Daria Siwiak. Elegance with a unique Polish accent.

Siwiak’s story is an interesting one. She started by designing novelty items for advertisement, but at some point she desired to create jewelry. She started with education. She finished a two-year course. At first, she created everything herself, using traditional crafting techniques. Currently, she has two helpers, who with great engagement and precision realize her designs. She also gets help from an experienced jeweler. At his place, she cuts all the gems (perfectly – at the right angle), as she mentioned at our meeting. Quite recently she showed him the final product of her work – since he saw her jewelry, she puts even more of herself into the craft. 😉 Siwiak uses various gemstones in her collections: agate, onyx, lapis lazuli and striped flint. It’s the last one that she focuses on the most. Flint is truly unique and really Polish, they call it the rock of optimism. I’ve read that it gives energy and removes fatigue. It’s extracted in only one place in the world – Sandomierz Basin. Siwiak tamed it, presenting it in a new, beautiful way. Her jewelry is bought mainly by mature women, who value quality and simplicity. Some treat the designer’s necklaces as amulets. Recently, a customer contacted her, asking for a unique, dream design. It was a real challenge for Daria, as the necklace had a really complex form. Siwiak handled it excellently. As a matter of fact, you can be the judge yourself. I don’t know about you, but I’m impressed!
