16th GOLD SILVER TIME fair, Warsaw. Fall hunt through Magpie’s lens.
I’ve always dreamed of having a private jeweler. Not a hairdresser or a stylist, but a designer who’d select sparkles for my outfit everyday. It’s no secret that well-designed jewelry is a luxury. And I believe that this dream will come true one day. 😉 I wonder, why is fashion talked about with Caps Lock, and jewelry is overlooked? After all, it’s equally important. The first two sentences, sounding as if taken from a fairy tail, are the result of longing and withdrawal from Gold Silver Time fair (which I’m about to tell you about). 😉 Hey… don’t scroll through the text yet! I promise that the photos will be a jewelry dessert. I’ll show you that trade fairs don’t have to be boring, definitely not the ones I’m taking you to. 😉 It’s worth mentioning that the International GOLD SILVER TIME Jewellery and Watches Fair has 16 years of tradition. It’s the largest exhibition event in the jewelry sector in Poland. Almost 170 exhibitors from the country and abroad presented the latest fall-winter jewelry trends. This year, the fair also changed its location. It took place at MT Polska Centre at Mars Street 56c. It didn’t pose any problem, as the organization was really professional. In order to help with the transportation, the organizers hired a bus, which ran between the main train station and the fair. We spent two days there. It was a time of discussion, watching and learning new jewelry brands. The exhibitors know each other well, which is why a family atmosphere prevails on the fair. 🙂 The artists were very approachable, eagerly talking to us about their jewelry. We also saw various stands of companies that offer jewelry products for the masses, as well as those that specialize in traditional workmanship or state-of-art technology. For the duration of three days, you could see the latest collections of gold, silver, amber, fashion and designer jewelry, along with gemstones, tools, equipment and intermediate products for jewelry making. Moreover, visitors could admire Jewelry Diplomas – pieces by the graduates of the Władysław Strzemiński Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Łódź. What really drew our attention were two exhibitions: The Circus, the PRESENTATIONS Art Jewellery Competition, and the exhibition From Ornament to Message. From the Collection of the Gallery of Art in Legnica. It’s time you saw the fair through our lens. The designer jewelry that we liked the most. 😉 The photos will also include pieces from exhibitions, which I took out from the glass display cases just for you. So, shall we?
