Magpies at 43rd INHORGENTA MUNICH, FEBRUARY 12-15, 2016
a dream came true…
INHORGENTA MUNICH is an International Fair of Jewelry, Watches and Lifestyle in Munich. If one wanted to visit all stands of 940 exhibitors from 33 countries (including 36 from Poland, which pleased us) they’d need over a week and shoes with some durable soles. 😉 Each year, the fair is visited by 30,000 guests and buyers from 80 countries – willing to learn new trends of the upcoming season and contract collections. Among the exhibitors, there are watchmakers, gemologists, jewelers and jewelry designers. Moreover, one can participate in shows, brand premieres and an interesting program, which includes numerous seminars and discussion panels. Reading PicaPica.pl you’ll have it all served on a sliver platter, since all the information is submitted to original Magpie selection. You know that, right? 😉 We got back home with a lot of material – happy, amazed and inspired. Our baggage increased by a bag full of fashion and jewelry catalogs and magazines. I’m happy that I can show you how it was. Ready? Brew your favorite coffee or tea, sit back comfortably in front of your screen. Let me tell you all about it.
INHORGENTA MUNICH backstage. We arrived at Munich and travelled from the airport to the Fair by a special bus. Thanks to the generosity of the organizers we could take a peek – and now you can see – how beautiful stands of different brands appear from “nothing.”
Press conference combined with a photo shoot of models: Cathy Hummels and Vanessa Fischer presenting jewelry of different brands/exhibitors of INHORGENTA MUNICH. (Male watches were presented by a German actor Ralf Bauer.)
A walk through INHORGENTA MUNICH with a guide for journalists participating in the Fair. Curious Magpies could not miss out on such an opportunity. 😉
We were pleased about the debut of the Polish Goldsmithing Artists’ Association at INHORGENTA MUNICH. Six designers presented themselves on the stand: Marcin Tymiński, Jolanta and Andrzej Kupniewscy, Jacek Byczewski,Alicja and Jakub Wyganowscy, Radosław Szwed and Dorota Cenecka. Congratulations to everyone and thank you for the time we spent together. You were brilliant. 🙂

Time to show other Polish stands, which we spotted at the Fair. If we’ve omitted anyone – forgive the Magpies. We’ll definitely make it up next year. 😉

On Saturday we participated in a lecture by our favorite jewelry blogger, Liza Urla, who’s running the website: gemologue.com. At INHORGENTA MUNICH, she spoke about trends in jewelry and pearls. It was wonderful to meet her and talk to her (yes, it was emotional!). 😉 You can find our photos together at Magpies’ instagram. I will share a secret that soon you can expect an interesting Q&AA at PicaPica.pl 😉
Visiting a hall full of watches, we could not just pass by the stand of Elixa. Not only because we’ve already had the opportunity to work with that brand (click -> link to refresh your memory ). 😉 As you may be aware, in Poland, you can buy Elixa watches only in Apart stores. Their strength is their femininity and modernity. Magpies approve and wear them. 😉

Fashion & Jewellery Show with a German model Nadja Auermann. The show included a Polish brand PZ STELMACH, i.e. the largest producer of rings in Poland – and one of the largest in Europe. Two PZ STELMACH rings were presented at the sow, and the models wore dressed from Talbota Ruthof collection.

Every day (from Friday to Sunday), after finishing the Fair day, all of the exhibitors gathered at the entrance hall at the INHORGENTA MUNICH Bar. Evening chillout – Get-together with live music and drinks was a great form of integration. 😉
Cocktail under the banner “JEWELLERY FROM POLAND. SIMPLY OUTSTANDING” promoting Polish jewelry, organized by the Polish Embassy in Berlin at the stand of the largest Polish ring producer PZ STELMACH from Opole. You should know that it’s the biggest Polish stand at the Fair. Looks impressive, right? 🙂

How was it, my lovely Magpie? I hope that we managed to inspire you, and that next year we’ll be strolling Inhorgenta together, looking at trinkets. 🙂 Finally, we would like to thank again the Official Polish Representative of INHORGENTA MUNICH Fair for inviting us. Agata and Joanna – you’re wonderful organizers. 🙂 Oh, and while you’re still here, I would like to invite you to signing up for the Magpie newsletter, if you haven’t done it yet, of course. Thanks to it, soon, you’ll be the first one (before the facebook premiere) see the video from INHORGENTA MUNICH, captured by Magpie– Katarzyna.
