Jewelry trends for spring 2016

Do you follow a favorite blogger’s relations from fashion shows on snapchat? You exercise your thumb scrolling fashion portals or Instagram? Are you sure you haven’t forgotten anything? Jewelry. There are trends, too. And I’m about to tell you about them.

You watch stylizations, get inspired and then what? The answer is simple – you look in shops for equivalents, because hardly anyone can afford the latest warmest Gucci’s creation ripped straight from Gigi Hadid (right after the show). That’s why the top bloggers serve us a mix of those stylizations – the ones available in retail chains and famous designers’ propositions most of us can only dream of. And how is it with jewelry? Here we also have trends. Each designer, when releasing a collection, completes it with accessories and jewelry. Let’s go back to September’s Fashion Weeks. Let’s remember which jewelry is most fashionable and then I’ll show you where you can hunt such accessories.

Let’s start with a head

When preparing a stylization, you don’t limit yourself to composing it from the waist up, but you look at the whole, don’t you? So let’s start with the head – bands, crowns and scarves (also on the hands and neck) ruled the catwalks at Chanel, Gucci and Dolce & Gabbana. Therefore, crown your head with joy whenever you feel like it.

Full Body Conversage, that is all kinds of chains to hang on the body or as a form of an elegant hand or ankle adornment are a total hit this season at Alexander McQueen and Calvin Klein. It is ultra-feminine to wear rings on all fingers in a way they also adorn intermediate and proximal phalanges.

Stand out!

If you want to stand out then choose large plastic earrings, sequin-sparkling necklace or bracelets with strong color accents. Raw minimalism goes great with nude total look. Don’t be afraid of combining it with geometric, slightly oversized earrings – you can freely mix them just like Lanvin or Isabel Marant.

Dust off what seemed out of fashion.

Ear cuffs are still in fashion, so dust them off and start wearing again. Fringes and boho patterns are back in favor. They don’t suit everyone, but look stunning when you move. And most interesting – pearls and irregularly shaped crystals. They will certainly enrich your collection with unique, precious pieces.

Remember, that jewelry is not only an outfit complement but also a lifestyle. Apart from plastic propositions from retail chains in Poland we have many brands and designers creating unique collections.
