Crafting the Future – reflections ahead of Vicenzaoro January 2025

Vicenzaoro is an event with a mission. A team with ambition and a clear goal: to create positive changes in the industry, set new development directions, and build a community. The countdown to the winter edition of Vicenzaoro has begun. This event is full of sparkling inspiration but also encourages reflection, discussions, and deep thought. The VOJ 2025 theme is “crafting the future,” and from January 17-21, we will focus on conversations about the role of younger generations in the jewelry industry.

The team at Italian Exhibition Group, the organizer of Vicenzaoro, is consistently shaping the event to be more than just a showcase of products, innovations, and a trade platform. A vital part of the Vicenzaoro program consists of discussions that tackle critical industry issues. One of the most pressing challenges today is the need to attract young people to professions related to jewelry.

The Sparkle of Young Talent

The mission to educate the next generations of craftsmen, gemology experts, and designers is “just” part of the task. The jewelry supply chain, involving manufacturing, trading, and customer service, is complex and intricate. In the glittering industry, numerous opportunities await young talents, offering diverse and exciting career paths. This is not the first time this topic has been addressed at Vicenzaoro. We have previously written about #GoldenTeam collaborating with local schools, inviting students to the fair to learn about the industry “from the inside.” This mission has grown into a central theme for the upcoming VOJ edition. Dedicated actions for young talent fit perfectly with the development of the Glamroom format— a section showcasing emerging brands and debutants. Another dimension of the “crafting the future” mission is supporting jewelry brands in developing innovation-driven strategies. Here, an invaluable partner is the Trendvision Jewellery + Forecasting team. This independent trend observatory, managed by IEG, specializes in identifying phenomena crucial for the future and growth of the jewelry industry, diagnosing shifts in consumer behavior, and exploring the possibilities arising from the implementation of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence. So, in January, we can expect many important debates and inspiring initiatives at VO.

A New Year’s Dose of Inspiration

Equally important is VO’s mission to attract creators of the most beautiful jewelry. Blingsis’ mission is to share the latest discoveries and delights observed at the most important glittering events! That’s why, starting January 17, our channels will be flooded with a New Year wave of inspiration straight from the showcases of Vicenzaoro. Editor-in-Chief Agata has already announced her visits to the booths of our favorite brands, including Autore (jewelry masterpieces with pearls), Be8 (Agata’s beloved brand), Tirisi (contemporary elegance for dynamic and modern ladies), and Paolo Piovan Gioielli (bold, sculptural, luxury creations). Agata, with her mobile video studio, will primarily explore the LOOK section — a part of the fair dedicated to contemporary jewelry with a cosmopolitan design. Here’s a smile for representatives of brands attending the January VO: our #girlboss, Agata Jankowiak, is a master of jewelry content and creative styling of sparkles. If you want your jewelry to appear in front of the Blingsis camera, make sure to reach out to us on Instagram or contact Agata by email. Let’s meet at Vicenzaoro!
