A handpicked selection of 35 prestigious brands, an intimate and exclusive atmosphere, and the refined setting of the five-star Hotel President—this is what makes Jewellery Geneva a must-attend event for high-end jewellery buyers. Organized by industry visionary Howard Hauben and his team, this boutique show will take place from April 1-7, 2025, running alongside Geneva’s world-renowned watch fairs.

Jewellery Geneva is the sophisticated younger sister of the industry’s most esteemed American shows—Couture in Las Vegas and Centurion in Arizona. The mastermind behind all three? Howard Hauben, an entrepreneur with an unerring instinct for the luxury market. His connection to Switzerland dates back to the golden age of Baselworld, the legendary watch and jewellery fair. In the 1990s, Hauben led the acquisition of the influential horology magazine Europa Star, frequently traveling to Switzerland to oversee its editorial operations. Under his leadership, Basel Tribune—a daily publication distributed in 10,000 copies during Baselworld—became an essential read for industry insiders. With Baselworld’s demise in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, Geneva has emerged as the global epicenter of fine watchmaking, thanks to the rise of Watches and Wonders. Seeing an opportunity, Hauben launched a new concept: a high-end jewellery showcase designed to complement Geneva’s premier watch fair.

Perfect Timing, Perfect Setting

“We decided it was time to launch a high-end, invitation-only show in Geneva at the same time as the big watch show,” says Howard Hauben, CEO of Jewellery Geneva. “Our timing was good, and we were able to get the five-star Hotel President (Wilson) on Lake Léman, which has Geneva’s largest ballroom.” The event is tailored for watch fair attendees, allowing them to seamlessly incorporate jewellery shopping into their packed schedules. “Often, buyers will see us early in the day ahead of the watch show as well as after their watch appointments, as we are very conveniently located at or nearby where they are staying while in Geneva,” Hauben explains. This year, to enhance convenience, the Jewellery Geneva team will provide complimentary Uber rides between the convention center and Hotel President, ensuring a seamless experience for visitors.

Jewellery Geneva stands out for its meticulously curated selection of exhibitors. “With knowledge of good companies from our years of involvement in Baselworld and also founding the Couture Show in the US, we set out to make an exclusive Geneva show primarily featuring jewellery companies who had been very successful at the former Baselworld,” says Hauben. This year’s lineup includes 35 prestigious jewellery houses from Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, the Middle East, Asia, and the U.S. The collection reflects the very essence of Swiss culture: excellence, artistry, and luxury.
