The Art of Timeless Elegance — A Dispatch from Jewellery Geneva 2025

When it comes to Jewellery Geneva, less truly means more. More meaning, more time, more beauty. An intimate, impeccably curated showcase of just 35 handpicked fine jewellery brands, was held in the refined setting of the 5-star Hotel President. The 2025 edition took place from April 1st to 7th, perfectly timed to coincide with Geneva’s legendary Watches & Wonders fair. Among the exhibiting maisons? Established names like Schreiner, Tirisi, Zydo — plus a few of my personal favourites: Autore, Roberto Coin, and Karen Suen.

Geneva, the global capital of diplomacy and watchmaking, proved a flawless backdrop for this gathering of carats, creativity, and craftsmanship. The brainchild of entrepreneur and industry visionary Howard Hauben, Jewellery Geneva has always been about quality over quantity. Carefully selected European (mostly Italian), Asian, and American brands filled the elegant interiors of Hotel President. Jewellery Geneva stretches over a full seven days — giving guests the freedom to choose their perfect moment to visit, take their time admiring the sparkle, and engage in meaningful business conversations. All of this in a setting defined by impeccable hospitality and a relaxed atmosphere designed for networking. No wonder that by day four, this year’s attendance had already surpassed last year’s numbers.

Time Is Luxury

Typically, my jewellery fair trips are a whirlwind of back-to-back meetings, colour-coded schedules, dashing between booths with a tripod, and late-night edits in the press lounge. I love the sparkle and chaos — but Jewellery Geneva offered a rare and welcome change of pace. Here, I could walk into every room, introduce myself properly, and take the time (luxury in itself!) to discover new collections, try on dreamy pieces, and talk to the creators behind them. The undisputed star of the show? Autore — the iconic Australian pearl house I’ve long admired and collaborated with. Their latest creations, featuring pearls in enchanting shades of golden honey and sunlit champagne, completely stole my heart. I’m also rooting for their fresh, fashion-forward line, Autore Moda, designed with younger generations in mind.

A Rendezvous with Favourites

Another personal highlight? Roberto Coin, always master of both craftsmanship and experience. The brand hosted its guests in a private penthouse suite with breathtaking views of Geneva — the perfect setting to explore blooming collections like the delicate Jasmine line or the pastel wonders of Princess Flower. Jewellery Geneva is also a stage for true showstoppers. From the bold, dazzling designs of Karen Suen from Hong Kong to the playful, gem-laden cufflinks of David Gotlib — this is jewellery at its most spectacular, where imagination meets mastery, and every stone tells a story. Above all, Jewellery Geneva offers something increasingly rare in today’s fast-paced world: the luxury of presence, beauty, and time well spent.
