It is said that the engagement ring is the one for the rest of your life. Thus each of us desires it to be special, not to mention the romantic setting of engagement. I know, I know… My eyes sparkle, too, when I think of it. Let me be clear, I understand if when choosing you follow the map of brands you know. Or that you like some or don’t know any other brands. If you are worried it’s the latter – calm down, I’m here to inspire you. I will now tell you what is important for a Magpie. For me the ring’s journey is important – from the hands of the designer to a safe landing on … your finger. Because I can’t imagine that my dream ring would have been shipped to Poland with thousands of identical ones in the parcel described with bushy signs. Ha! Are you already curious what I’m going to recommend you?

Today you will meet Bizoe. A brand created with a real passion by Anna (certified gemologist, amber and diamond expert in one person) and Kasia (Goldsmith master with 16 years of experience, who is designing and making unique jewelry with the use of old goldsmith techniques). The first rings were made for friends. They were designing pieces they would like to wear themselves. Such approach is authentic for me and it worked, because more and more orders came. Since then they have expanded their collections with rose gold and gold of higher fineness and platinum which is hard to process. Each ring is handcrafted by them with attention to quality and gem selection. What is important – the stones they use are not treated! Hmmm… I’m not sure if you know but by treating a stone it is possible to improve its color, translucency, density, degree of crystallinity or mask or remove the natural imperfections (scratches, cracks or inclusions). So, unfortunately, this is done by a lot of companies, but I will tell you about it in another article.

Writing about Bizoe I’m looking at my ring finger. I can’t get enough of a gold ring with rhodolite. It is minimalist, it doesn’t tangle when I put my hand in a pocket and has insane pink “eye”.
