7 FUN FACTS ABOUT BLINGSIS

Have you ever been curious about when the two of us stopped throwing socks at each other and started to really get along? In celebration of the Siblings Day, we have prepared 7 Fun Facts about BLINGSIS for you.

1. If you have assumed that Katarzyna is older- then you are wrong. Agata is actually one year her senior.

2. Back in primary school and junior high, we used to swim competitively and also perform synchronized swimming. Agata got so hooked that she got trained as a water rescuer (naturally, these days she only swims for pleasure).

3. Back in the days of army boots and sweaters with loose sleeves, we also used to play acoustic guitars. Agata abandoned the guitar for singing (she spent a few years giving stage concerts around the country), whereas Katarzyna opted for running around with a photo camera.

4. We studied at the same university – the University of Fine Arts in Poznań (Agata majored in sculpture, Katarzyna in photography), but we were nowhere near as close as now. It was not until graduation that we realized that even a best friend cannot replace a sister!

5. We originally come from Śrem, but we have lived in Poznan since high school. We live only 300 meters apart.

6. Other than the love of jewelry, we also share a love of cats, each one of us proudly owns a wonderful furry animal: Szafir, Agata’s Siberian, and Katarzyna’s Stefa). And as well, a love of Asian and Italian cuisine.

7. Our commercial collaboration started 2 months after the Pica Pica blog launched in July 2015. It resulted in a beautiful photo session for APART. The cooperation with APART has continued to this day and having had a range of experiences (they have offered help even in the biggest turmoil), I admit that they are the most friendly and trustworthy jewelry company in Poland.
