To enter the YES family is like to enter the elite gang. I’ll tell you that I hadn’t hesitated for a minute when I got an email invitation to a trip to Warmia. We packed our bags and… took off to peek at the YES 2017 Calendar.

We came to Dorotowo, that is tiny beautiful place on Warmia. YES took care of the tiniest details. Even hotel that hosted us looked like a masterpiece. There is a very homely atmosphere. The team works day and night (falling asleep, we see the flashes). Around the lake a ton of equipment is scattered. On the pier the lights are installed for evening photo shoot in Christmas atmosphere, and above us flies a drone. We enter the dressing room.
We feel fabulously peeking at the YES collections before the premiere. Blimey! Some will have their premiere only in the summer next year and we can’t wait already. I am sure you’ll go crazy, too. OK. Everyone’s ready. We get into the car and go to the forest. I’ll tell you that to take one shot the team needs to go knee deep in water… More in the film Magpie Katarzyna took. CLICK! Not only we were amazed! YES invited also Jessica Mercedes, Radzka and FashionMugging. None of us can let go of the phones. Each of us collects materials for our channels in our own style. Radzka rips off of me my ZARA dress and recommends it on her Instagram – but the friendship doesn’t start with that. Room next door, coffee on the terrace with a lake view and awesome hammock and… a lot, LOT of talking. When we met Radzka it turned out that blog friendships are real and now we are conspiring something SPECIAL for you! Before I tell you the details of the Calendar – see the materials the girls made:
About YES Calendar
Do you know that the first cards of YES Calendar were created in 2010? What is more, each edition tells a different story. This time in the Warmia landscapes we see an authentic woman, full of natural gleam and spiritual sensuality, who takes her strength from nature. YES chose the model perfectly. She looks phenomenal – Ola Kędrzyńska, YES muse, is posing PERFECTLY for three days! AAAAnd, I’ll tell you one more important thing – the photos each year are taken by vifferent artists.
This year the YES 2017 calendar is The Kissinger Twins duo: Katarzyna Kifert and Dawid Marcinkowski. Directors, photographers and multimedia artists. Their films, photography and interactive projects won many awards, including Internet “Oscar” – Webby Awards 2013 for Smolik’s film The Trip. Fun fact: they combine working for the world’s biggest brands with production of experimental artistic projects.
Its worth knowing that for YES the photos took Zuza Krajewska and Bartek Wieczorek, Mateusz Stankiewicz and Aldona Karczmarczyk, and the models were e.g. Ania Jagodzińska, Zuza Bijoch, Magda Frąckowiak. Photos of all previous Calendars can be seen on YES.pl and in Concept Store YES in Warsaw.
What about the premiere?
Many people don’t realize how many people work on one calendar. Therefore, a round of applause for the whole team who has been working hard for three days on the YES Calendar 2017:
