INHORGENTA’s International Ascent – A Report from Munich’s Jewellery Fair
From February 21–24, the halls of Messe München shimmered with the brilliance of fine jewellery and gemstones. INHORGENTA 2025 proved once again why it’s cementing its place among Europe’s most prestigious industry platforms. A bold creative vision, high-profile partnerships, and an increasingly international presence drew 1,334 brands from 38 countries and over 25,000 attendees to the heart of Bavaria.
The numbers speak for themselves: INHORGENTA’s organizers have successfully executed a strategy to elevate the fair to true international prestige. Attendance saw a 1% increase from the previous year, while the number of exhibitors rose by 3.4%. The diversity of participating nations underscored the event’s growing international appeal. This was the most globally connected edition in INHORGENTA’s history, attracting brands and industry leaders from the Middle East, Switzerland, Italy, Denmark, the United Kingdom and many more. A sharp marketing approach, a visually striking setup, and a packed event program helped Stefanie Mändlein’s team make Munich a magnet for the world’s jewellery elite. “The growing international interest clearly shows: INHORGENTA remains Europe’s leading platform for jewelry, watches, and gemstones in 2025. It provides the industry with momentum in challenging times,” said Stefan Rummel, CEO of Messe München.
A Spark from India
One of the defining moments of INHORGENTA 2025 was its strategic partnership with India, secured through collaboration with the Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC). “Jewelry from India is the shining star of the Indian economy, with exports worth 32 billion US dollars. The planned free trade agreement with the European Union will create even more opportunities for growth and collaboration between India and Europe,” noted Kirit Bhansali, Chairman of GJEPC. The Indian Pavilion was just one of many highlights in an event brimming with spectacle. Panel discussions at Trendfactory, the breathtaking Timeless Brilliance diamond exhibition, and the highly anticipated INHORGENTA AWARDS all made for an unforgettable experience. The exclusive awards gala was orchestrated with grandeur and sophistication, featuring a dazzling performance by Icelandic singer Ásdís. (See the full list of award winners HERE.)
A New Era of Luxury
Our time at the world’s leading jewellery fairs has made one thing clear: the industry is undergoing a transformation, and INHORGENTA has its finger on the pulse of this change. This event has mastered the art of premium experiences for both exhibitors and guests. Guided tours, Instagram-worthy installations like the coral-colored living flower wall, and meticulously curated settings in the wedding and fine jewellery sections all contributed to a modern, high-energy atmosphere. This elevated approach has not gone unnoticed. “I see the potential for INHORGENTA to develop into a Watches & Wonders for High Jewelry. The problem in our industry is that many luxury brands are withdrawing from trade fairs. Here, I see INHORGENTA, with its central location in Europe and favorable timing, as the right organizer. It has impressively developed in recent years with a lot of fine-tuning; I’ve discovered many new things: The entrance area with the sea of flowers is luxurious, the showcases as wave-breakers in the B1 central aisles are inspiring, and the layout is very well done. INHORGENTA, with its exhibitors, shows us the luxury that our customers expect.,” said Elke Wolf, CEO of Juwelier Jasper. We couldn’t agree more. INHORGENTA is the jewellery fair the industry needs right now—innovative, luxurious, and truly cosmopolitan. Congratulations to Stefanie Mändlein and her team. And as for us? We’ve already marked our calendars for the next edition: February 20–23, 2026.
