WITH HOMI FASHION & JEWELS COMES A NEW EXHIBITION PROJECT DEDICATED TO THE WORLD OF CUSTOM JEWELLERY AND FASHION ACCESSORIES

At fieramilano from 13 – 16 September, the first edition of an event dedicated entirely to fashion accessories, custom jewellery and new style ideas.

HOMI Fashion&Jewels is the new exhibition project by Fiera Milano dedicated entirely to fashion accessories and custom jewellery, coming to fieramilano for the first time this September.

The exhibition will bring together the legacy of the sectors that the HOMI lifestyles fair previously dedicated to these worlds, creating a comprehensive, one-of-a-kind event. A showcase that will comprise an enormous variety of exhibitors – major brands, international companies, startups, emerging creatives and designers – coming together to meet the demands of a highly dynamic and demanding sector, in which the overall approach is increasingly closer to fashion and its seasonality.

For this reason, HOMI Fashion & Jewels will take place twice a year (in September and February), in conjunction with the biggest Milan fashion events: it will offer a new point of reference for retailers, trend setters and for all fashion operators drawn to the wealth of opportunities Milan has to offer.

EXPERIMENTATION, SPECIAL AREAS AND TRAINING

Research and experimentation will play a key role, thanks to the SPERIMENTA (Italian for EXPERIMENT) spaces that will host new creations, and exclusive unique and original pieces, small examples of design excellence, attended by designers, companies and artisans, who will be carefully scouted in order to deliver a comprehensive experience with unrivalled quality.

Additionally, special areas like Tuttepazzeperibijoux will provide an opportunity to discover select and niche items of jewellery, which are distinguished by their originality. Conceived and created by Maria Elena Capelli, cool hunter and jewellery blogger of the Tuttipazzeperibijoux blog, this section will be a point of reference for concept stores and jewellers looking for unique, handmade, high quality jewellery.

Talks and workshops will run through the event, delivered by industry experts (journalists, fashion stylists, trend setters, opinion leaders) to provide helpful advice on increasing profitability and making the most of the opportunities offered by the fascinating world of fashion.

And of course there will be fashion shows aplenty too: on the HOMI catwalk, the current season’s most representative collections, in a mix and match of custom jewellery and accessories, the true stars of any look.  

In September, the event will take place partly simultaneously (on Sunday 15 and Monday 16 September) with a series of other accessory events – MICAM Milano, the International Footwear Show, and Mipel, the fair dedicated to leather goods.
