The most important themes addressed in the September meeting of the shimmering industry in Vicenza (8-12 September 2023) concern the future of jewelry design and production. “FROM ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TO SUSTAINABLE GEMS, ALL THE SECTOR TRENDS” – I read in the official preview prepared by the organizers from the Italian Exhibition Group. The highlight of the upcoming Vicenzaoro edition will be the premiere of The Jewellery Trendbook 2025+ – a guide full of knowledge about the phenomena that will shape new directions in the industry.
At Vicenzaoro, every player in the shining business discovers novelties essential for their profession, establishes valuable contacts, gathers inspiration. The ICON sector with a presentation of luxury jewelry brands will also be a mine of inspiration for designers.

I have no doubt that the symbiosis of the craftsmen’s handiwork with technological innovations is the future. Professional jewelry manufacturers during VO can get acquainted with the offer of interesting semi-finished products, and above all see and buy loose stones that they will use for their works. The Italian fair also organizes exhibitions and presentations dedicated to horology. The Time section, as well as the VO’Clock Privé event taking place on September 8-10, is a tribute to watchmaking art.

All Italian giants will come here: Damiani, our beloved Roberto Coin, Crivelli, Fope, as well as the best international houses, including the German Schreiner, the French Akillis, the Australian Autore, and the Spanish Dámaso Martinez.

Finally, a surprise: I am letting you, dears, into my secret calendar and revealing my personal trade fair checklist. The angel pendant with a diamond letter A from Carrera y Carrera is currently the top sparkle on my shopping wishlist. I expect more awe-inspiring, artistic pieces at the booth of this Spanish brand. In The Design Room, I’ll rush to Stephen Webster. The London genius never ceases to surprise with his combination of pop aesthetics with luxury elegance. His designs are chosen by famous jewel lovers: Jennifer Lopez, Christina Aguilera, Cate Blanchett, Megan Fox. I won’t deny myself a solid dose of diamonds at the showcases of the Parisian brand Djula, which will debut at VO in September. I’m looking forward to meeting regulars at the fair – one of them is Annamaria Cammilli. The Italian brand celebrated its 40th birthday this year. Since I couldn’t make it to the anniversary celebrations in Florence, I will definitely visit the team for a glass of prosecco and talk about the new collection. See you in Vicenza!
